AMANDA CONDIE, GROOMER

amanda

Amanda Condie has had a love of animals since she was a little girl. She was called the animal whisperer by her family, as it seemed all animals gravitated to her. She could even somehow talk to squirrels and get them to come really close to her.  When she was a sophomore in high school, she started her career working with animals at a local pet store in Sandy.  She also took animal behavior and husbandry in technical school.  She attended Veterinary Assisting and Veterinary Technician training during her junior and senior years of high school.  She achieved her Veterinary Technician license upon graduating and worked at Bird and Exotic Vet Hospital for three years as their lead technician. Amanda discovered her passion for grooming while working at PetSmart.  She decided to pursue groomer training and continued to work with PetSmart as a bather and groomer for ten years.  She also groomed at Amor Animal Hospital in West Jordan for four months before being transferred to Alcor Cresta five years ago.

Amanda resides in West Jordan with her husband Nick and her two children, Hunter and Aspen. The Condie family has eight dogs and two cats.
